Our history… richly woven

Since 1963, Dynamat inc. has woven its history on the background fabric of continuous improvement in its products and services. Always moving forward, we are constantly reaching new heights.

First known under the name of Caoutchouc Québec Inc., the company has been manufacturing blasting mats used in dynamiting operations and other products produced by recycling automobile tires ever since then.

In 1991, the new corporate name, Dynamat Inc, appeared on the scene and, at that time, the company chose to concentrate exclusively on producing blasting mats. Dynamat’s story is one that has been, and will continue to be, richly interwoven with success.

• 1996 -

  Dynamat meets the requirements of Recyc-Québec's used tire recycling program.

• 2002 -

  Pierre Poulin and Ann Pomerleau acquire Dynamat Inc.

• 2005 -

  Dynamat inc. is accredited C-TPAT (Custom-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) by the American government.

• 2006 -

  Implementation of a process improvement program to optimize production.

• 2007 -

  Acquisition of new property to ensure the growth of the organization and keep a vast stock on hand.
